What we mean.
What to check.
Platform availability
Platform access is arranged directly with ZeroEmi. Your onboarding scope sets out the workflows, service configuration and authorised integrations required for your operation. Courier connections require the relevant permissions and agreed integration arrangements; naming a supplier does not imply a partnership or endorsement. Confirm your required workflows with us before transitioning from an existing system.
Charging network status
ZeroEmi is developing a regional charging proposition. Website imagery is illustrative unless specifically identified as an actual commissioned site. Locations, charger specifications, opening dates, pricing and availability will be published when supported by confirmed project evidence.
Calculator method
Annual diesel energy cost = distance ÷ 100 × litres per 100 km × dollars per litre. Annual electric energy cost = distance ÷ 100 × kWh per 100 km × dollars per kWh. Each scenario adds its entered annual maintenance cost.
Distance entered per working day is multiplied by working days per week and working weeks per year. Weekly distance is multiplied by working weeks per year. Annual distance is used directly. Fleet totals multiply per-vehicle results by the number of similar vehicles. Monthly figures are annual totals divided by 12; they are not a seasonal cash-flow forecast.
Electricity use must include charging losses: use energy drawn from the charger per 100 km. The electricity price is the depot price multiplied by the depot share of purchased kWh, plus the public price multiplied by the remaining share.
Annual operating difference = diesel scenario minus electric scenario. Estimated time to recover the extra purchase cost = the extra cost to buy the electric vehicle after a confirmed vehicle grant offset, divided by a positive annual operating difference. If no extra purchase cost remains, there is no extra purchase cost to recover. A grant above that cost does not create a cash benefit in this model. If extra purchase cost remains and annual savings are zero or negative, no simple recovery period is shown.
The model uses constant inputs and ignores time value of money and all exclusions shown beside the results. It is a screening aid, not financial advice, a quote, an eligibility decision or a guarantee. Values do not establish suitability of any vehicle for a specific task.
Environmental statements
Battery-electric vehicles have no exhaust emissions while driving. That does not mean the vehicle, electricity or transport service has zero lifecycle emissions. Any future quantified saving needs a stated boundary, baseline, electricity assumptions, methodology and evidence. This public calculator does not calculate or certify emissions.
Routes and driver responsibilities
Route suggestions depend on the supplied addresses, delivery windows and vehicle data. Our configured planner does not model truck height, axle restrictions, dangerous goods, fatigue rules or EV charging stops. Drivers and dispatch must check legal and physical suitability. Navigation links launch another service; they do not provide continuous vehicle tracking in ZeroEmi.
