Privacy Policy

ZeroEmi · Port Macquarie NSW · Last updated August 2026

Who we are

ZeroEmi ("we", "us") is a Port Macquarie-based venture helping regional Australian transport operators transition from diesel to zero-emission freight. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you register your interest through our website, we collect the information you provide: your name, company, email address, fleet details, the nature of your operations, and any notes you include. We do not collect payment information through this site.

How we use it

We do not sell your personal information. Aggregate, de-identified demand data (for example, total registered trucks in a region) may be used in grant applications and infrastructure planning — never in a form that identifies you or your business without your consent.

Finance services

Where you ask us to assist with asset finance, your information is handled under the additional obligations that apply to licensed credit activities, and you will receive the relevant credit guide and privacy disclosures at that time.

Storage and security

Registration data is stored in access-controlled systems. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, and retain it only as long as needed for the purposes above.

Access, correction and deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing hello@zeroemi.com.au. We'll respond within a reasonable period.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us first and we'll work to resolve it. You may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
